IS THAT A SLEEVE, A STOLE OR A SCARF??

Take a look at one of our editorial pieces, the handmade pearl sleeve with vintage lace as a scarf.

I had the great pleasure of having over one of my favorite stylists, Ms Faustina Rose. Look at her tying the sleeve and scarf in her own way. According to Ms Rose, The scarf is basically a magic trick in an outfit. See it in the video below…

CHOOSING NAMES FOR COLLECTION

To come up with names for a collection is a challenge process. I have to see how we tie the scarf and the way that lays, the material that is made of .

For example, this piece below, i used to call it the “Mushroom” before finding the right name “La Muse”.

I am still looking for a name for this “Chicken” .HELP!!

IS THAT AN ALUMINIUM SCARF? REALLY?

YES!!! You read right…This scarf is made of yarn that has aluminium inside of it. It is a vintage yarn, that can not be found anymore. I added a vintage art deco appliqué with beads hanging on the back of it. You can tie this scarf all the way to your neck or loose. Either way the dangling appliqué looks amazing on the back.

You will be stopped for sure when wearing this piece of art.

MODERN ART…THE RECTANGLE SCARF

Sometimes my inspiration comes from images I come across or structures and objects in my environment, but mostly I am inspired by yarn, color, and the act of knitting. So, my designs often utilize simple stockinet and garter stitch, showcasing beautiful yarns. Simple, clear lines mixed with some interesting detail or shape appeal to me. Take a look at this scarf and different way of tying it, showing the art behind it.

LACE, LACE AND MORE LACE….

Picking up lace for our scarves is one of my favorite things to do. I am always on a hunt of vintage lace. My mom, Norma, has quiet some collection. One lace is from the 1900… EXCITING!!

I use 2 kinds of lace, Dentelle (Lace) de Chantilly

and Dentelle (Lace) de Calais.

A beautiful way of tying a lace scarf, accent the elegant you. You can be sported with any outfit in your wardrobe.

Every season , we do several shoots for our products. We shoot them on a mannequin or on a model. Sometimes we also shoot them laying on a white background to show all the details of the scarf. The stylists tie the scarf in so many different ways to show its versatility.
